We install a replaceable high tensile axle which is much stronger and much cheeper to replace if required.
Actually we are yet to supply a replacement axle.
Customer was unable to source an irrigation gate roller that would remain operational and last for more than a few seasons.
As these rollers were fully submerged at all times, mild steel construction failed (original rollers shown in attached photos)
Our solution was to manufacture from a combination of marine grade stainless steel and aluminium bronze bushings.
The results speak for themselves.
Customer presented an articulated Case tractor which was about to break in half.
The damage was so extensive that the removal of the entire centre section was required to facilitate repair.
